I have, for a few years now, been wracking my brains trying to come up with ideas for a business than can be run on the Isle of Wight. We've had a tough time here with the recession, and the island has the second highest unemployment rate in the UK at a shocking 25%.
The idea is that Comfy Chairs will be made with pride on the Isle - providing a company that islanders can be proud of and much needed employment opportunities. See how our story unfolds here.
As for me, I love donkeys, sailing boats and my rescue doggy - Tiggy. I also founded the very popular of Isle of Wight Bands, a site listing bands, DJs and Entertainers for hire on the Isle of Wight.
When I'm not trying to come up with new business ideas, I'm either out on the water or walking on Tennyson down.
